Wellesley Hills Financial, a Boston-based bespoke fintech and B2B software focused investment bank, is proud to announce the addition of a dedicated West Coast banking team led by Managing Director, Eddie Galvan, a veteran mergers and acquisition specialist who started his career at JP Morgan, a new Europe based team and the establishment of the first cohort of its Executive Advisory Committee.
Galvan is a seasoned fintech professional and advisor for fintech, payments, and tech-enabled businesses, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, and finance. His recent accomplishments include advising on the sale of Linga, Inc., a vertically tailored payments and point-of-sale software company, to PNC Bank. He also played an integral role in Equiem’s cross-border acquisition of SpaceOS. He will be joined by SVP, David Gutterman, and Senior Analyst, Ivan Martinez.
Wellesley Hills Financial is also onboarding a banking team in mainland Europe for EU and UK coverage. The team will be led by Tom Schapira, a 20 plus year veteran of the fintech industry and founder of the merchant bank Imagine Capital Group. Tom is ex-FIS, SunGard, Kearney and Accenture FS Strategy. Tom will not only expand the firm’s global coverage but will enhance its services to include M&A and private placements for fintech, insuretech, real estate firms, and venture funds.

With over 40 years of fintech experience, Mike Peters is a seasoned executive in the U.S. acquiring market. He began his career with Dun & Bradstreet, and over the last 25 years, has held senior level sales and executive leadership roles with First Data, Chase Paymentech, TransFirst, and President of TSYS Acquiring Services. He most recently served as President & CEO of Get Beyond.
Wayne Johnson is a leading sell-side equity research analyst covering fintech, payments and tech-enabled software for approximately 20 years at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey (now Truist) and Raymond James. For the last five years he has been engaged in management and strategic consulting.
